Mais dans les ann\u00e9es 2000, alors que son fils Enzo finissait Harry Potter, voyant qu\u2019aucun autre livre ne venait lui apporter une telle passion, il se lan\u00e7ait dans la r\u00e9daction des sagas \u00ab Stealmoundal \u00bb puis \u00ab Terre des Runes \u00bb. Visionnaire pour l\u2019\u00e9poque, il traitait des probl\u00e8mes d\u2019actualit\u00e9 comme le r\u00e9chauffement climatique, le terrorisme, le racisme, tout en cherchant \u00e0 transmettre dans ses ouvrages beaucoup d\u2019\u00e9motions, d\u2019humour, de po\u00e9sie et de romantisme. Ses romans du domaine de la Fantaisie, construits autour de personnages attachants, sont \u00e9crits dans un style pr\u00e9cis et dense, qui saisit le lecteur d\u00e8s le d\u00e9but et ne le lib\u00e8re qu\u2019\u00e0 son terme.
